Posted by wsolsen  --  NAME: Sharon on 01/29/03 at 11:26 AM Subject:   Families: Ciarlo, Di Fabio, Fiorito, Grosso The family names begin with my maternal grandfather Ciarlo which turned into Carlo and Charles when entering the U.S. Di Fabio was my maternal great grandmothers maiden name. Fiorito was and is a name through marriage on my maternal grandfathers side. Grosso was my maternal great grandfathers name . I believe his family might have orignally come from France and ended up in Compabasso and the province of Ribbabatoni. There, marrying my great grandmother. Out of that marriage came the following: Adelina, Mary, Henry, Arther, Lenard, and Frank Grosso. They came to the U.S. in either the very late 1800's or the beginning of 1900. From there they went to Montreal, Canada. Traveled to California then homesteaded in Port Orchard and Seattle Washington. Any information would be deeply appreciated.
