on 08/24/02 at 10:48 PM Subject: Belpulsi, Catterino, Belardocco I am American, the granddaughter of Filippo Catterino (, born 3-28-1893, son of Teresa ___ and Giuseppe Catterino) and Carmella Belpulsi (born october 12, 1901, daughter of Mary Antoinette Belardocco and Michael Angelo Belpulsi). Filippo and Carmella were both born in San Martino in Pensilis and only some of the family immigrated to the United States. Filippo Catterino had a sister Elvira who stayed in Italy, and brothers Antonio came here and returned to Italy, Nicholas (Domenico ?)I am not certain of the spelling of Catterino.... it may have been Catarino... Carmella's mother Mary Antoinette Belardocco had 2 brothers, one who stayed in Italy, Gennaro who had a jewelry shop in naples; and Michael. Uncertain as to the spelling of Belardocco.....it may have been Ballardocco........they changed the name to Ballard in the U.S.) I would like to know more about the descendants of both Catterino and Belpulsi families. I can send pictures and give dates of birth, and would hope that someone can translate my English into Italian, as I am sorry I do not speak my grandparents' native language. Follow Ups:
