My grandfather was a Cuccarese. He came to the U.S. in the 1920, when he was 10 years old. He came from Basilicata. His mother was Maria and his father Egidio Cuccarese. He has a sister (Armalinda) that stayed behind in Basilicata and her descendents live there. He has other siblings, but because of a family fued, our family lost contact with many of them. My Aunt grew up in Alegany county PA. She says she grew up with a Grace Fucci, who was a school teacher. (Any relation to Grazia?) But she said she was never told that the Fucci's were any relation to the Cuccarese's. I am 34 years old, so I don't have a whole lot of information, but my grandmother is still alive, and could probably tell me more. Contact me if your are interested. I would also love to find out anything that you have learned about the Cuccarese side of this family.
