Her name was Maria Pennilli and she was born in Marsicovetere in 1890. She was the middle child of Giuseppe Pennilli and Ann Suttarelli. She had 4 brothers John, _?_, Harry and Frank. They moved to the Federal Hill section of Providence, RI, USA around 1900. A couple of the brothers adopted the name Benel.
