Posted by Barb Thompkinson on 11/25/03 at 6:19 AM Subject:   Gigliotti, Aiello, Scalzo My grandfather was Giuseppe Gigliotti, born Decollatura 1893, to Bernardo and Mary Gigliotti. He came to U.S. in 1911-1914, and again in 1920 to stay. He had at least two brothers who came to U.S. Believe one brother's name was Miche. My grandmother was Josephine Aiello Gigliotti, born S. Bernardo, 1889, to Saverio Aiello and Maria Scalzo. She came to U.S. in 1921 to stay. Believe she had at least two sisters who stayed in Decollatura. Their names may have been Rachele and Rosina. There is a chance that Rachele's husband's name was Luigi Scalzo (this is a guess). She had one brother who came to U.S. Frank Aiello, born in 1885 and married Catherine - settled in New Jersey.
