He is a Grandinetti from Motta Santa Lucia and now he's currently doing on his own an historical research about people from Motta Santa Lucia who left in the past century for working in the US. He's gathering through Ellis Island and the various archives on line all the informations, but a big help comes from relatives and friends living in the US that are writing us. Our aim: trace a picture of migration but also connect people and families, collect souvenirs linked to grandparents and ancestors. And...maybe organise in the future the first "Motta - US Meeting", who knows!!! Anyone wishing to help us with news about relatives coming from Motta Santa Lucia is welcome and greatly appreciated!!!
