According to my greatgrandmother's birth record, she was found in or near an animal trough on the property of Pasquale Mazzotta in Lago in 1864. Her birth was recorded in San Pietro in Amantea in 1864. She was presented by Marianna Cicorello. She was given the name of Filomena Raia. She married Vincenzo Bruno and lived in Belmonte Calabro where she died at the age of 30. Do any of these names mean anything to anybody? Especially Mazzotta and Cicorello? Follow Ups:
