Posted by yvette monteleone on April 24, 2004 at 03:09:08: Looking for anyone who has information on Monteleone's, Falcone's, Franco's and Oliverio's from Cutro, Italy. The Monteleone's came from Portigliola sometime prior to 1895. (Francesco, Elisabetta and Giuseppe Monteleone). The Falcone's (Angelo Falcone)I believe came from nearby san leonardo di cutro in the late 1800's. The earliest Franco I can find as of now is in 1850. (Annunziata Franco was married to Angelo Falcone. And the Oliverio's. I am looking for decendents of Vito, Francesco and Maria (Pasqualina) Oliverio. Their father was Vincenzo Oliverio and their mother, Concetta Carulli or Corulli. Vito and Francesco Oliverio immigrated to the US and I believe they settled in Washington. Pasquale Monteleone and Maria Falcone immigrated to Niagara Falls, New York in the 1920's. If any of this sounds familiar, please email me. Thank you.
