The Spelling when they came from Italy in the early 1900's was Maccaroni and was changed to Maccarone. They lived in kenosha, WI. Moved out west to Walla Walla, Wa. in 1925. My mother's maiden name was Maruca. I am looking for info and family in Italy and USA.
