Algeria, the ship that a Giuseppe Garaffa sailed on when he emigrated from Italy on June 10, 1905. He was from Polistena and was meeting his brother Rosario (thats what it looks like anyway) who lived at 238 Mulberry St. New York, NY. He was 16 years old at the time of his travel. The 16 years old part doesn't jive with what you stated above but it would work with the birth date you gave. Go to www.ellisisland.org and do a search for Garaffa and you'll find the manifest I'm looking at.I'm also working on a Garaffa family tree and although there may be some relation to yours my family was primarily from Agira, Sicily.
