He passed away in 1964 at age 54 and I hadn't got much information from him or his family except that he may have been born in Montefalcione, Italy. I don't speak Itlian, but . . with some time, can write and read with translation tools. I have started to develop a letter that I want to send to the proper place in Montefalcione, but don't know where and to whom to send it. Can someone help? Here is what I've written so far: I am writing to ask for an official copy of my father’s birth certificate (Sto scrivendo per chiedere una copia ufficiale del certificato di nascita del mio padre.) My father died in 1964 and I am trying to find out more about him (Il mio padre è morto in 1964 e sto provando a scoprirgli più circa.) I think he was born on December 2, 1909 in Montefalcione, Avellino, Campania, Italy (Penso che sia stato riguardato il 2 dicembre, 1909 in Montefalcione, Avellino, Campania, L'Italia.) My father’s name as we know it is Giuseppe Moressi. (Nome del mio padre poichè lo conosciamo è Giuseppe Moressi.) He was listed on the Ellis Island ship manifest (July, 1911) as Giuseppe Miresse. (È stato elencato sulla nave dell'isola di Ellis manifesta (luglio, 1911) come Giuseppe Miresse.) His father’s name is Biazio Moressi (Miresse). His mother’s name is Filomenia Moressi (Miressi). (Nome del suo padre è Biazio Moressi (Miresse). Nome della sua madre è Filomenia Moressi (Miressi).)
