Posted by Michelle Meola on 12/10/03 at 1:20 PM Subject:   Ceracchio Hello from Arizona. My grandfather came from Conza de Avellino. In 1980 when the earthquake hit the region he was led to believe that everyone in his family had been killed. His father's name was Nicholas and his was Pietro (Peter). I have been trying to prove that this is not the case and we do still have family living in that area. If anyone knows I would greatly appreaciate someone getting in touch with me. Some more information: My Grandfather came in the 1900's and settled in NJ. We had some family in Florida and Some in Arizona (why I moved here.) Again, any assistance would be great. PS - I apologize I do not speak Italian, my grandfather would not permitt it since i=his first taste of the United States was that of jeers because he could not speek English so I apologize in advance if you need to communicate with me in Italian. But I promise I will figure it out and find a way to communicate.
