Posted by Sharon Oberritter on 12/12/03 at 11:08 AM Subject:   Cornacchia relatives from Vallata According to my mother-in-law's birth certificate, her mother came from Vallata, Italy. Her name was Michelina Cornacchia and she married a gentleman from Acerra, Italy named Dominico Perone Around the turn of the 19th century, they immigrated to Chicago, Illinois. Michelina was born around 1892 and Dominico was born 1887. We would love to know if there are any family members still residing in Vallata. My mother-in-law passed away the end of October and I find it important to pass on family geneology to our children.
