Posted by Michael Casale on October 08, 2004 at 18:21:51: My name is Michael Casale, and I live in Brooklyn, New York. I am trying to find the home town of my paternal family. My grandfather was named Antonio Casale, was born in 1903, in New York, but returned to Italy soon after when his mother, Teresa Lambardo died. He returned to New York in 1920. My great grandfather was Gerardo Casale, and was 27 in 1903, and we believe came from Teora. He too, returned to Italy with my grandfather to raise him with his mother, whose name is unknown. Does anyone know where I can find records of them if they lived in Teora? All research I've done seems to indicate that our whole Casale family originated in Teora, and that there may be several Casale's in Teora related through my great grandfather. Thanks!
