Posted by Chris Farina on April 19, 2006 at 04:24:09: Hi, I am researching the Farina name from the Naples area. My great-grandfather's name was Francis Farina and was married to Philemona Caruso. Not sure when they came to the US. Pretty sure they did not come through Ellis Island. They first settled in Pennsylvania, then on to Detroit, Michigan. They had 7 children, 2 boys (one of which was my grandfather, also named Francis) and 5 girls.
