DONATELLI and CANNAVINO families Hello, I'm from the Detroit, MI area and I'm tracing my roots back as far as they go. On my mom's side, her grandparents both came from Italy. They were Anthony Donatelli (1903-1992) and Anna Cannavino Donatelli (1907-1986.) From what he told me before he died, "Grandpa Tony" was born in Chieti (I'm not sure of the town.) He arrived in America with his cousin Rocco Colamarino in about 1919-20. I think they went to Philadelphia first but I'm not sure. My great-grandmother Anna was born in Sayre, Pennsylvania. After this Tony and Anna moved to Detroit in the 20s and my grandmother Dolores Donatelli was born in 1930. Any further information would be great! What were Tony and Anna's parent's names?
