I am so grateful to hear from you and thanks for your
information. I spend a lot of time in the Ellis Island
files and I have seven Di Lullo adults (all siblings) that left Chieti arriving at different times on Ellis Island. Thank God for those records. I have a hard time finding the second pages. I go forward and backwards and I am not always certain I have the correct pages. I would love to spend a month in New York so I could spend time going through the records if they let you do that. I live in Texas and would love to know where you reside. Yes, it would be wonderful to meet a relative. I am not Italian but wish I were, as I am in love with everything Italian. I have a friend of fifty years that I am helping with his Di Lullo genealogy. I am trying to learn about obtaining legal records from Chieti. I have searched alot of the web sites and love having this information on the computer. I know it is so much easier if you have a lot of money to pay a professional researcher in Italy but not as much fun. I just bought a new CD that is so perfect. I got it yesterday and have played it over and over today. It is by The Opera Band and is called Amici Forever. I will be glad to keep my eyes out for your names. How long have you been working on your tree? I have the software Family Tree Maker which makes it so much easier. Thanks for your help. Good luck on your searches.
