Posted by Lisa Cicchetti on January 17, 2007 at 06:29:48: I am seeking information about my paternal grandmother, Esterina Federici (b.1892). Her mother was Fortunata DiSantis, father Santo Federici. My family said she was born in Coli. The ship log at Ellis Island, NY states her place of origin as Barete, but perhaps that is where she lived after marrying Paolo Cicchetti of Pizzoli. They sailed to NY together in 1924 and lived on East 103rd Street NYC and elsewhere. I know of no siblings names, but her cousin Pasqua who went to Philadelphia and married a DiGiacomo. Any information would be much appreciated.
