Posted by Jean on July 09, 2004 at 03:10:42: My grandparents, Angelo Petrilli and Francesca Cicerone, who were born in Sulmona in about 1972 and 1883, respectively. They married and settled in Massachusetts USA in about 1901. They both left siblings in Sulmona when they came to the U.S. Also, my mother remembered visiting Angelo's brother who settled in Pennsylvania in about 1935. According to their marriage certificate, Angelo was the son of Feliciano Petrilli and Mariagustato DiGorio. Francesca was the daughter of Antonio Cicerone and Marianorio Manciarelli.
