Posted by Zoe Boccabella on January 24, 2008 at 00:48:42: I am searching to find out how far my ancestors go back in Fossa. My grandfather, Annibale Boccabela was the last in my direct line to be born there. His mother was Maddalena Urbani (born in Poggio Picenze, 1893 - I would love to know more about her family!) My great grandfather was Vitale Boccabella, born in Fossa, 1890s. I think my great great grandfather was Demetrio who married a Coletti in Fossa. Does anyone have any information about the ancestry of the Boccabella, Urbani or Coletti families? I think the Boccabella's have been traced in Church records in Fossa back to the 1600s - any info to help with a family tree is much appreciated.
