Trip To Barrea

My entire life I've wondered about where my grandparents came from and now finally, I'm going to find out. I'm planning a trip to Barrea. My grandparents emmigrated from there in 1917. My granfather was Domenico Campana and my granmother was Thomasina Cerra. They left Barrea with My uncle Angelo Campana.

My plan is to rent a motorcycle in Lecco (Moto Guzzi of course) and ride from there to Barrea. My greatest hope would be to find a relative of my grandparents still in Barrea and be able to give them the details of my grandparents life in America.

I'll have about 21 days to travel to and around Barrea and finally see for myself where my family began. From the photo's I've seen of Barrea, I'm sure I won't be dissapointed.
