Carlone

I am looking for my great grandfather Francesco Carlone's family in Castel Di Ieri, L'Aquilla. He was born in 1894 and I believe his father's name was Donato Carlone.

In 1912 Francesco Carlone boarded a ship in Naples headed to NY and his final destination was Mount Carmel, PA.

As per the ship's manifest (on www.ellisisland.org) it states he traveled with his cousin Emidio (or Emilio or Enndio) who were both 18 at the time of departure and they were going to Emidio's father, Angelo Carlone's home in PA.

Unfortunately, Francesco died at age 37 from Turberculosis in Staten Island, NY leaving his wife Giuseppina Leita Carlone and their 3 children. Their second child, Laura Lilia Carlone was my mother's mother and she passed in 1996.

Looking for any information on the Carlone's from Castel di Ieri, L'Aquila.
