Posted by Norma Colaiuta on 01/22/03 at 7:34 AM Subject:   family tree search My name is Norma Colaiuta and I live in Argentina, in Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost place in the world. I'm trying to get info about my grandfather to start my family tree. He came to Argentina around 1906, his name was Angelo Colaiuta (although my father always insisted that the surname had been misspelled at the registry office here, he insisted that it was Colaiuda instead). He was already married to my grandma, Domenica Desantis, when he emigrated to Argentina from Pescorocchiano,Rieti. I think she was from Sicily.They had eight children in Argentina, of which my father Orlando was the 6th. Sadly, my father has been dead for some time now, and his brothers and sisters have also passed away, so there is nobody I can turn to for the info I need. Also, I'm planning to visit Italy in 2004, so I'd very much like to know if I have any living relatives in that area. I would very much appreciate it if somebody could help me trace my origins!
