I actually just returned from visiting some of my relatives last week who still live in town. There are numerous different and unrelated Piccirillo families in Colle Sannita. If you were to visit the town, the town hall has extensive birth and death records which would give you a lot of the information that you are looking for. My father's cousin had a letter written in English from someone if I remember correctly in Ohio who was looking for their Piccirillo relatives in Colle Sannita. Was this you by any chance? He said that it was another unrelated Piccirillo family since there was no one by those names in our lineage. Colle Sannita is about an hours drive from Benevento or two hours from Naples. It can be a bit tricky since there really isn't a direct route. You also can take a train from Naples to Benevento and then a bus to Colle Sannita if you didn't want to drive. There is a Hotel in town called Ca Del Re. They have a website in case you want to book reservations. http://www.sannio.com/cadelre/ Colle Sannita and that part of Italy is gorgeous and is definitely worth a visit.
