Posted by Crista on June 01, 2006 at 18:02:39: My great-grandfather Alfonso FASCETTI (variations on spelling) came to the US from Sant Angelo, Aquila or possibly Amatrice. His parents were Innocenzo FASCETTI and Maria DEBENEDICTO (sp?). Alfonso's brothers Domenico, Giovanni, and Giuseppe also came to the US. A sister (name unknown) and brother Giulio remained in Italy. My great-grandmother also came from this area, Amatrice, I believe. Her name was Ridolfina BONANNI. Her parents where Gianfelice (Felice?) BONANNI and Lucia (surname unknown). Also came to the US were Ridolfina's siblings Michele, Giuseppe, Pasquetta, and Maria.
