Can You Help with advice? My grandmother said they came from Naples or outside Naples.But recent information seems to suggest Roma Antonio Gentile birth about 1838 to 1845 –Girolomo Gentile birth about 1867 – 1872 Taken from the average of births stated on various documents. I know they came to England about 1888, and they settled in Dewsbury Yorkshire for a time prior to going to Chester. I am told Gentile is a very common name in Italy, however, I have yet to have a reply from one.
