Posted by Judy on November 17, 2004 at 06:30:56: I would like to correspond with others who are researching the Frombolo or Ghigliazza families from Alpicella, Savona, Liguria. I am interested in the family of Antonio Frombolo and Bernardina Ghiliazza who were both probably born in Alpicella. Antonio Frombolo died around 1900 and his wife Bernardina went to the United States with their children; Giovanni, Pietro, Antonio, Pietrin, Maria, Enrico, Victorio and Dora. All the children were born in Alpicella. She settled in Stockton, San Joaquin, California and remained there until her death in 1918.
