Posted by Johannes Nova on April 24, 2004 at 00:54:07: Please, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with any information they have of the surname "Nova." I'm half European by descent, but my family seems to know nothing about our ancestry other than that they came from Italy. Through my own studies, I think that the family of Nova most likely came from Lombardia, but I am not sure of anything. If anyone has any information at all regarding that surname, it would be greatly appreciated. [By the way, the name of my great-great-grandmother was something like Micchaela Nova, or something like that. There aren't many Nova members that I know of, though I know there are some that reside in France, Switzerland, Canada, U.S.A (where my branch is), and Italy (Of course).] Thank you.
