My grand mother and her parents left Gorla Minore, Varese, when she was one year old, in 1884. They went to Buenos Aires,Argentina,in South America, and they never had any contact with the family they left. My grand mothers name was Adelaida Banfi, and her parents were Ferdinando Banfi and Rosa Colombo. I would thank very much any information about how to begin searching them. Thank you very much.
