Posted by Cheryl Marchesi White on 01/06/04 at 3:31 AM Subject:   Marchesi Family Sernio & Tirano My great grandfather Cosin Marchesi was born in Tirano circa 1866, his brothers were Giovanni born 1862, Luigi born 1877 and Celestino born 1869 who all came to Australia. They had 2 sisters Teresa born circa 1874(who married Nicola Giudes in Tirano) and Maria married to ? Guidice who remained in Italy. Their parents names were Antonio Marchesi and Teresa Poletti, who were residents of Sernio Sondrio Lombardy.
