Posted by Elissa on 01/08/04 at 12:15 AM Subject:   BELTRAMI, REGOLI, BETTINELLI My Giovanni Regoli married Maria Beltrami in Idro, Brescia, Italy on 17 January 1902 and eventually settled in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region (actually New Kensington, Westmoreland County, PA). Giovanni had several brothers: Sylvestro, Battista and Francesco who were in the US before 1900 but may have traveled back to Italy. I would be interested in corresponding with any descendants of these brothers. Giovanni was a twin, and his twin sister Nina was left in Italy as she was rumored to be a nun. These 5 people were the children of Battista Regoli and Maria Angela Bettinelli. Sylvestro (Sylvester) and his wife Matilda had 5 children by 1900 and are in the 1900 census for Westmoreland County, PA.
