Posted by Donna September on April 09, 2004 at 04:51:00: My grandfather, Torello Masicarelli, was from Ascoli Piceno and came to America circa 1917. He had several brothers and sisters and I am looking to find relatives still in the province. I would like to know more about what family is still there - we would like to visit Italy next summer and would truly enjoy meeting any distant relatives. I know he had a sister, Potenza, that died young, and a sister Savina, whom I have met and is since deceased. Also a brother that he brought to America.I know that there were several brothers and sisters (perhaps 10-12) and that his family owned an inn/hotel. His father had been married before and was originally a jeweler.
