Posted by Ginni on July 07, 2004 at 14:43:25: We would like information on the Marzi, Farroni, and Nardi families of Pollenza. Our Great-grandfather was Giuseppe Marzi, born April 27, 1883 he was the son of Angelo and Catalina Marzi. He married Eliza Farroni, daughter of Piero Farroni and Maria Nardi, she was born in Pollenza, they married in Cleveland, Ohio November 18, 1905. We believe his brother was Candido, who also came to Cleveland. We also, suspect that Angelo's brother's name was Girolomo Marzi born in Sant Angelo, Italy January, 1857 who's family settled in New Britain, Connecticut. Any information that could be added would be appreciated. We would like to know information on any of the family names, Marzi, Farroni, and Nardi from Pollenza. The families were neighbors around 1900.
