Posted by Marilou Perfetti on 05/25/03 at 6:05 PM Subject:   PERFETTI, CAMPOGIANI, PEDACCHIO, SARNANO AND SAN GINESIO ERFETTI – CAMPOGIANI – PEDACCHIO – from San Ginesio and Sarnano Information and ancestors of August (Agostino) Perfetti born about 1893-1896 came to America May 1912. Returned to Italy and died there in (?) early or mid 1960’s. I have located 6 other Perfetti’s from Sarnano coming thru Ellis Island early 1900’s. Information and ancestors of Nazzareno Campogiani, born May 6, 1878 came to America in 1903. Returned to Italy to marry in 1909 and then brought his bride back to America. I have located 7+ other Campogiani’s (various spellings) from Sarnano coming thru Ellis Island early 1900’s. Information and ancestors of Lucia Pedacchio (wife of Nazzareno Campogiani) born in San Ginesio June 21, 1891 and Pacifico Pedacchio (brother of Lucia) born in San Ginesio May 22, 1893. Mothers name believed to be Maria. Lucia and her brother Pacifico came to America in the early 1900’s. Do not know when Maria came to America but she remarried and died here in 1939. Most of the Perfetti’s, Campogiani’s and Pedacchio’s from Sarnano and San Ginesio, coming thru Ellis Island, show their destination as either …Bradford, Pennsylvania or Hunstsville, Ontario, Canada.
