Posted by adam on May 05, 2005 at 21:45:24: I've been trying to research my roots lately and have hit a wall. My great-grandfather Nicola Mancini came to the states in 1906. He didn't live long enough to get a social security card but my great-grandmother Josephine did. Her parents names were Augusto Vitali and Catherine Monaldi and are definetly from Fano, Italy. I was wondering if anyone came across any of these surnames or knows how I can go about doing some more research. Thank you.
