My grandfather, James DiScenza came over in the 1920's on a coal boat through Canada. He had a sister in Canada and brothers in Cleveland. He also had some siblings still in Baranello during the 1950's. My parents visted them there. My great-grandparents, John Baratta was married to Catherin Palladino. I don't know if they married in Italy or the US. I don't know if they had family left in Baranello or not. I know John had siblings in Cleveland.
