family in campobasso

i am planning a trip to guardiareggia, campobasso in molise this
february. my mother's grandparents were from there. the family names
are Sampogna and Giambatista. i know from my research that these
surnames are, in fact, concentrated in this region. actually i looked in
the white pages and found several sampogna's and giambatista's in the
area. i plan on looking them up while i'm there, but is there anyone out
there who has heard of these surnames? i know it's a shot in the dark,
but you never know. thanks.
