Posted by Denise Komoroski on February 24, 2009 at 16:19:21: I am looking for information on my grandfather's family. His name is Nicola Chiovitti. I believe he was born in Campoplieto on 28 March 1894. His parents are Vincenzo and Lucia D'Alesandro. He left Italy when he was around 17 and settled in Pittsburgh PA. He had a sister, Carmella who also went to US to meet husband Giovanni Varanese. He also had a brother, Dominick and sisters: Rose, Anna and Marianina (?) I would appreciate any information.
