Posted by Chris Turton on February 04, 2007 at 14:01:49: Looking for the families of Angelo Pasquale Papa (born 6 Apr 1866 in Pozzili) and his wife Gabriella DeLuca (born 19 May 1871 in Venafro). They married in Italy (I assume Venafro) and then moved to the UK, settling on Penzance, Cornwall. Sometime in the 1930s they officially anglisized their name to Pope and they died in 1939 and 1948 repectively. I know they had at least six surviving children: James (1895), Ellen (1897), Rosa (1899), Joseph (1901), Benedict (Francis) 1914, Louise (1916) but given the gap between Joseph and Benedict there may have been others .
