Shannon, I just saw your message about the Prete family from Conca Casale. My family (both parents) are from there as well. My mother is a Masi and my father is a Papa. My mom is related to the Prete family. I have been asking my mom about this -- First, is your grandmother Rosie Matteo from Rhode Island? Her mother's name was apparently Filomena Prete. If your grandmother was Rosie Matteo, let me know as Rosie and my mom are cousins. Hope to hear from you.
