Posted by Jennifer Dashnau on May 05, 2005 at 21:37:23: I am looking for relatives of Carlo Palmitessa (b. abt 1866 in Italy-d. abt 1955 in USA) and Carmella Ladisa (maybe Ladisce, b. abt 1876 in Italy-d. 1950 in USA) from Monopoli, Bari, Puglia, Italy. I believe Carmella came to America with a few of her children (Paolo b. 1894, Isabella, Grace) around 1907 on the Passenger Ship Virginia (departing from Napoli, arriving New York City). I would like to know more about the families of Carlo and Carmella. Please contact me if you have any information.
