Carenza and Fasano Families Heritage Forums: Province of Bari, Puglia, Italy

Fasano on 12/09/03 at 7:26 PM Subject:   Carenza and Fasano Families I am trying to find the birthplace of my grandfather, Michele Timeteo Fasano, born Feb. 6, 1894 in Aquaviva delle Fonte, Bari. My great grandparents, Francesco and Veneranda Quirino Fasano also had three other sons, Eustachio and Giovanni who came to Worcester Mass.in October 1919 as well as Antonio Fasano who remained in Aquaviva with their only sister Anna who we understood worked at a jewelry store in Aquaviva. We know that Antonio has a son Franco who came to visit during the mid 1970's but hasn't been heard from since. Any information on the Fasano family from Aquaviva would be helpful in our efforts to locate the birthplace and burial sites of our family. Giacamo and Crecenza Luisa Carenza came to Thompsonville CT USA on July 28, 1906 from Turi Bari with their daughter Angelina and son Leonardo. The Luisa family, also of Turi, had a daughter Rosa who came to the USA around 1916. Any information on the Luisa and Carenza families from Turi Bari would also be appreciated. Thank you Michael A.
