Posted by Vera on December 22, 2005 at 05:11:48: Researching the family of Antonia CONTESSA and Marie Emanuela RENDINA married in 1888 S. Marco in Lamis. Who are thier parents? Antonio died there in 1939 and Marie Emanuela in 1965. They had the following children who lived and married in same place: 1. Marie Luigia m. Giuseppe Antonio VILLANI 1906 2. Carmela (died as infant) 3. Marie Theresa m. Luigi LOMBARDOZZI 1920 4. Antoniella m. Nicole CIAVARELLA 5. Raffaela m. Antonio COCO 1933 6. Marie Carolina (died a child) 7. Angela m. Giuseppe CENTOLE 8. Leonardo ....immigrated Mar. 1907 Leonardo is my g-grandfather and from Ellis Island went first to Chicago to see cousin Vincenzo PESCI/PESTA?? (this name was hard to read on the ship manifest). From Chicago he went to ND and worked on the Railroad and around 1913-15 to Pierce County, WA and finally Lewis County, WA.
