My grandfather, Mario Contini, was born and lived in Castelluccio Valmaggiore until he emigrated to the Cleveland Ohio area at the age of 18. His siblings and parents followed soon after. His siblings were named Vittorio (who died in Hawaii during World War II), Michele (who lived in North Hollywood, California, until he died) and Maria Luisa (also died in the Los Angeles area). My father, also Mario Contini, was born in Beechwood Ohio and moved to the Los Angeles area after marrying my mother and my grandfather followed him. My grandfather died in Thousand Oaks, CA in 2001. We still keep in touch with some of our Italian family . Flora Contini still lives in Castelluccio. We have other relatives with the last name of Palumbo. I hope this helps.
