Subject:   triggiani

I have been trying to search for Anselmo Michele Triggiani now for TEN years, and saw your site this evening. I have a cigarette case with his name on it. It was made for my parents as a way of saying thank you for their kindness. It was made by him or his fellow prisoner of war friends. He worked alongside my parents in Cornwall UK. The information from the Italian Embassy in London says that he was born in Roseto Valfortore Foggia and emigrated to Canada in 1952. I would like to meet the person whose name I see daily on the cigarette case. I believe it was made from an old kettle, probably the only material they could get their hands on. My parents were very fond of the Italian prisoners of war and told us many stories about them. On the inside of the cigarette case it says TRIGGIANI MICHELE. ROSETO VALFORTORE FOGGIA.
and underneath this it says
RICORDO DELLA PRIGA - I do not know what this means.
As I said it would be so nice to have contact with the name I see daily. Please can you help I would be so very grateful. Thank You.
