Surnames Zampol and Gregory Italian Heritage Forums: Region Veneto

Posted by Crista Hopp on 09/07/03 at 4:34 PM Subject:   Surnames Zampol and Gregory I am researching my Great Grandfather's family that came to America in 1884. Carlo Zampol came to America in 1884 from Puos D'Alpago a commune in Belluno. His wife Marianna Gregory, their youngest son Gaspar, and daughter Annette remained in Puos D'Alpago. His son's Peter and Lawrence came to America with him. Lawrence's first son Ziolio was born in Italy, even though he was naturalized under his father. I would love any information anyone has to share on this family.
