Searching Dandino (Dandy) name

Subject: Searching Dandino (Dandy) name

I am searching for the ancesters of my grandfather James Vedo Dandino who was born 4 July 1891, in Pescara Italy. After arriving in USA he changed his name to Dandy. I know nothing of his family in Italy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
