Subject: Question for Abruzzo2000

Abruzzo2000, can you clarify something for me? I see a lot of inquiries about names that are very familiar to me but slightly different. For example, someone was asking about Alessandroni but the family I know is Alessandrini. Another query was about the name Liberatore and I know the family DiLiberatore. Also, is Maiorini the same as Maiorani? Are these families related anyway? If not, why are there such slight differences in the names. Your answer will be appreciated. Thank you. I've wondered about this for a long time.
