My grandmother Maria Martocchia, and her sisters, Evelyn, Rose, and Betty, and brother, Dominick, all came to Hartford, CT about 75-85 years ago. They were from Popoli, Pescara. I am a student at Fairfield University, in Fairfield, Connecticut, and will be studying in Italy during my junior year--I'll be sure to check out the old hometown!
