: I am looking for the passenger list for the Calabria which left Trieste on September 25, 1920 and arrived at Ellis Island on October 19, 1920.

: Any help would be appreciated.

Diane:
According to the foloowing site, http://www.cimorelli.com/safe/shipmenu.htm, the Calabria arrived in New York on October 17, 1920.

To get the passenger manifest, you must first know the "Soundex" code for the person you're searching.
Then you go to particular reel that contains a bunch of last names that "sound" like your relative, and if you find his/her card, it has information that will tell which reel has the manifests for the Calabria.

All this information can be found by navigating the National Archives site at: http://www.nara.gov by clicking "Genealogy". You can also view these films free at one of their 12 centers in the U.S.
The films can also be rented through your local library if it participates in inter-library loans, or
can be rented from the Church of Latter Day Saints,
www.familysearch.org,

You'll have to do some more homework, and I'll be glad to help with additional questions.
